Two Doors Left

The first run of Crestview Doors is almost over. We’ve sold 10 of the first 12. After the last 2 are sold we will stop taking orders until June.
That should give us enough time to build and ship those doors, evaluate the business model, and to build the online store.
With the Violet Crown Festival over, I had a little extra time to build mockups for a customer. Put you mouse over the small images below to see the different doors. The first one is the current door. The 2nd is a “Piedmont” with dark cherry stain and a vintage escutcheon, and 3rd is a “Pasadena” with black paint.

Which one would you choose?

ohhhhhh.
Door #3 for me!
I like the geometry and balance.
on door #2, the vintage estucheon doesn’t work for me.
Door #1 looks like my aunt and uncles house :)

That dark cherry is incredible and I just love that door knob (escutcheon?) Just what is the difference between a doorknob and an escutcheon, the level of additional ornamentation?

It’s all about the elegant Pasedena. It captures both old school styling and modern, clean lines in one door. In addition, the squares are bigger.

#3 for sure. It follows the lines of the house – and seems very classy (which I think is white white brick is all about).

Thanks! She picked the Pasadena.
An escutcheon is the plate behind the doorknob. The midcentury ones were big and required that the door knob be set back a couple more inches from the edge f the door.
