Hey, it’s a test pattern! I remember those! I also remember the TV stations playing the National Anthem against a shot of the American flag (in black and white) when it was time for the station to sign off for the night. I kind of wish they would do that again, since I have kids who would wake up in the middle of the night and go out to watch TV. They don’t do this anymore because we have satellite TV and we set the controls so no one can watch between midnight and 7am without inputting the password. So, no TV. Still, it seems it would be simpler to just not have access. Is our society on sensory overload?

Lillian, our age is creeping up, dear. I remember those days, too In fact, I remember no color TV and when NBC introduced it. WOW! Now, I have no little ones to shelter. Hey, Erwins…I can’t wait to hear the progress report. Hopefully you were moving in this weekend.
