Ikea Kitchen Day 35

Well, the cabinet guy postponed and postponed, then he worked a half day on Saturday and decided he had had enough. Ikea 2, me and cabinet guy zero.
Two thirds of the kids were out of town so I watched a 15 min Ikea video on-line and headed over to the house to take a swing at it.
I took down all but three of the cabinets the cabinet guy had installed. I measured, adjusted, cut, and put them back in according to the last shred of instructions I had left.

So much better. I feel better having done it myself, and I know they are in there right.

I was just flipping through some blogs and came across yours. Your kitchen looks great…well, will be great once those cabinets are finished!! I see some green and white (lineoleum?) tiles on your Flicker pics. Where did you get those? I’d like to have the same things for our future laundry room!

Thanks! It’s Armstong Excelon. The colors we picked out were available off the shelf at Home Depot.

If you have any problems or need more information, head over to http://www.Ikeafans.com. More information about Ikea kitchens than you ever thought possible and the friendliest, most helpful bunch of folks. I’m midway through my kitchen renovation (http://www.flickr.com/photos/58009277@N00/sets/72057594118052371/) and they’ve been insanely helpful.

Duh…you already found them. Sheesh – must read posts before typing wildly and hitting Post.

The phots show that your kitchen is looking amazing. Walked by this past weekend and saw through the front door the faux-artichokes from Ikea hanging on the stairs. interesting placement :) , but can’t wait to see them in the Dining Room to complete the rendering we’ve all been watching grow to real life since the beginning!
