Week 3 Wrap-up

There was little visible progress this week. We got a Pod, which looks like a small one-car garage, dropped in our yard. And that’s about it. The trusses will not be ready today. They will be ready next Friday (they better), which means less will happen next week. Somewhere, they are still building trusses, and windows, and estimating cabinets and wiring.
I think I had psyched myself up for demolishing the house (not the whole house really but about half of it). Having seen so much happen in the first two weeks I was getting into a groove and forgetting about the hours upon hours I spent scraping, sanding, patching, and painting all the trim, and sheetrock. There is about a pound and a half of specially ordered ceiling glitter in that house.
This is going to be like pulling off a Band-Aid. It needs to be fast or it’s going to hurt.
