It’s really happening!

David took me to the house today to look at the new piers. WOW!
I realized that I have been avoiding going there during the day because I am a woman alone. At night, I don’t feel safe walking through the rubble in the darkness.
Seeing the piers up close was exciting. Even though we have gotten our money’s worth from the Better Homes and Gardens software, it is often difficult to get good perspective on space and size from the walk-throughs that it generates. Seeing the piers in the ground… wow. I’m speechless.
Looks like they will finish up with the foundation today or early tomorrow (rain forgiving). David said Ace told him the framing starts next week. I can’t wait!
